Gay Rights at WWP conference
At the 2009 Workers World Party conference LeiLani Dowell spoke of the party’s contributions to the struggle for women’s and LGBT rights, and later on Bob McCubbin introduced Stonewall rebellion participant Sebastian Pernice.
Neidenberg connection
Bob McCubbin was a college student when he met Milt Neidenberg’s life partner, Rosemary Neidenberg, when they were co-workers in Buffalo. Rosemary invited him to dinner, where he met Milt. They took him to political events, including a picket against a car dealership in Buffalo that refused to hire Black workers. “I had finally walked the walk on racism where previously I’d only talked the talk,” McCubbin said.
Gay theory
Harry Hay’s theorization was still incomplete, but it would be further refined and bolstered by later radical gay activists. Bob McCubbin’s 1976 study, The Gay Question: A Marxist Appraisal, which was put out by the left-wing Workers World Party, remains a touchstone historical document that followed in the Harry Hay tradition.[1]

On December 14, 2009 Labor for Palestine released an "Open Letter from U.S. Trade Unionists to AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka: Boycott Apartheid Israel".

Hands off Venezuela!
In May 2005 Hands off Venezuela! circulated an internet petition: "from American trade unionists and workers to the appeal to the U.S. government to stay out of Venezuela."
Bob McCubbin of the California Teachers Association endorsed the petition.[3]
