Communist Party dissidents

On November 15-16 1991, 30 dissident members of the National Committee of the Communist Party USA convened a meeting to "sign a statement of events" - most or all signatories were soon to break with the party and were later to form Committees of Correspondence.

The signatories included Beth Edelman, Eastern Pennsylvania[2];

Communist Party reformer

In 1991 Beth Edelman, Eastern Pennsylvania was one of several hundred Communist Party USA members to sign the a paper "An initiative to Unite and Renew the Party" - most signatories left the Party after the December 1991 conference to found Committees of Correspondence.[3]

Delaware Valley Committees of Correspondence

In May 1994, Libby Frank, George Dolph, Irene Borenstein, Beth Edelman, Mort Frank, Bruce Haskin, Aaron Libson, Norma Libson and Amy Menzer were members of the Steering Committee of the Delaware Valley Committees of Correspondence.[4]

Rejoining the CPUSA

Beth Edelman rejoined the Communist Party USA in 2008. She had been in the Party for 35 years, leaving in 1992. [5]

CPUSA Environmental Action

CPUSA Environmental Action is a Facebook closed group. It is "a meeting place for members and friends of the Communist Party USA to discuss environmental issues (especially climate change), share information, and coordinate activities".

As of June 21, 2017 members included Beth Edelman;[6]
