Alex Prolman, a nursing student at UNC Chapel Hill, and a former member of Bull City Tenants Union in Durham, NC., Emerson Goldstein an organizer with the Duke Graduate Student Union (Local 27, Southern Region Workers United SEIU) previously an organizer and trainer with the Bull City Tenants Union and in Legal Aid of North Carolina’s eviction defense program, and Kristen Hefner an organizer based in Durham, NC., who previously worked as an organizer with Bull City Tenants Union and the Carolina Federation contributed an article "One Building At A Time Won’t Do: Tenant Organizing in a Red State" to Convergence, August 17, 2023.[1]
