Template:TOCnestleft Erin H. Neff is a New York City activist. She is a Staff Attorney with the Housing Help Program at the Legal Aid Society of New York City. In this role, she works with low-income individuals in Brooklyn who are at imminent risk of being evicted from their homes. Previously, Erin was a Legal Research Fellow with the Open Society Foundation's, Justice Initiative, where she researched torture, police violence, and prison conditions, as well as drafted provisions for proposed legislation. In addition, she previously represented undocumented individuals seeking asylum in the United States. Erin graduated with honors from the American University, Washington College of Law, where she also served as the Symposium Editor of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law. Erin is a licensed lawyer in New York and has a pending license to practice law in California.
