The organization is run by Executive Director Michael Huttner, a UC Hastings law graduate and lawyer turned political consultant.[3] The Deputy Director is Bobby Clark, who was part of Howard Dean's online campaign.[4]

Its founding Board Members include Wes Boyd, founder of MoveOn.org[5], Rob McKay, Chairman of the Board of the Democracy Alliance and President of the McKay Family Foundation[6], Jared Polis, elected in 2008 as the U.S. Congressman for Colorado’s 2nd District[7], and Ted Trimpa (Chair), a lawyer in Hogan and Hartson’s government relations practice[8].
