Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada

The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada was founded in 1994 and is comprised of more than two dozen groups that are dedicated to working for social, economic, and environmental justice. The member groups include anti-poverty activists, people of color, children’s advocates, disabled persons, environmentalists, lesbians and gay men, and labor unions. PLAN currently supports Harry Reid.[1]


Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN) is a non-profit organization and they are a driving force in Nevada for building consensus and collective strategies among progressives on a range of issues including state roles in welfare, immigration, taxes, environment, campaign finance reform, economic justice and reproductive choice.

PLAN stresses heavily the concepts of social and economic justice for Nevada. They are heavily involved in Nevada politics and the influence of legislation to achieve their progressive agenda.[2]
