Today Suffolk DSA held a bowling event for women’s rights to safe abortion! We are fundraising with DSA chapters across the country to benefit abortion funds. Our chapter raised $556 so far!

SCDSA fundraising benefits The Yellowhammer Fund in Alabama, and The Mississippi Reproductive Freedom Fund. Both these agencies are operating in states where women’s rights are in most duress. Thank you to all who came out and there is still time to donate to our fundraising page!

Join us as we discuss why we are founding a local Suffolk County chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America- hear our goals, vision, and strategy. We will discuss as a group what we all think socialism is and how the DSA is different than the Democratic Party and other liberal or progressive organizations. We will also decide as a group what campaign(s) we will work on.
