Template:TOCnestleft The Radical America journal was a product of the campus-based New Left of the late 1960s, specifically the Students for a Democratic Society.[1]

History

The Radical America journal was launched in 1967 by Paul Buhle, a U.S. history graduate student at the University of Connecticut. It was sold at 50c a copy.

The last issue of the journal, Vol. 26 No. 4, October-December 1992 was published in June 1999.

New American Movement

In 1981, the editorial board of the Radical America congratulated the New American Movement on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.[2]
