Council run

Wisconsin local elections were held on April 7 2026 in what was otherwise a relatively sparse month for DSA-endorsed candidates for office. Pete Borchardt lost a race to represent a Green Bay district on the Brown County Commission, 45% to 55%. Borchardt had been endorsed in his effort to defeat a Republican incumbent by Northeast Wisconsin DSA. Bobby Gronert, a YDSA organizer running to represent a largely student district on the Madison Common Council, lost 80% to 19%.[1]
