- Please join the Russia and Eurasia Program at The Fletcher School for a panel discussion on the role of NGOs in Russian public diplomacy. The panelists include Natalia Burlinova, Founder and President of Creative Diplomacy, and Oleg Shakirov, Program Coordinator at Creative Diplomacy. They will also present Meeting Russia, a public diplomacy program for young leaders from the United States and Europe. Refreshments will be provided. Attendance is by registration only on Eventbrite.

- "Oleg Shakirov serves as a Senior Coordinator of Creative Diplomacy and a Consultant of the PIR Center, an independent nongovernmental organization that carries out research, educational programs, public outreach, publishing, and consulting. His expertise lies in Russian foreign policy, European security, the OSCE, and digital diplomacy. He graduated from the South Ural State University (2010) and received a master's degree from the John Hopkins Schoool of Advanced International Studies (2015). He has worked as a news editor at the International Broadcasting section of Russian News and Information Agency RIA Novosti (2011-2012). He has also interned at the PIR Center (2012) and the United Nations Department for Political Affairs (2014).
Meeting Russia Reach in the United States
PICREADI's Meeting Russia Program:[3]
- Since November 9, PICREADI (Creative Diplomacy) has been visiting the USA for presenting its annual public diplomacy program Meeting Russia. Meetings are organized in Washington DC, Boston and New York.
- It is the second year when PICREADI promotes the Meeting Russia program at that platforms of leading universities and academic centers. President of PICREADI Natalia Burlinova and Meeting Russia coordinator Oleg Shakirov have attended The American Interest, the Eurasia Foundation, the Fletcher School, conducted meetings with American experts on public diplomacy.
- On 13-15 November Natalia Burlinova and Oleg Shakirov have presented the program in Washington DC and Boston. In Washington DC the main platform for the presentation was the Eurasia Foundation and its Young Professionals Network (YPN). PICREADI has also presented the Meeting Russia project at the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication of the George Washington University.
- In Boston PICREADI made a presentation and held a discussion at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at the Tufts University. Students were also interested in the Russian current public and digital diplomacy trends.
- Also, PICREADI held presentations at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies of the Harvard University and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
