Circa 1969, Prof. Ned Price, Wayne State University , was listed as a sponsor of the Socialist Workers Party led GI Civil Liberties Defense Committee .[1]
Assault charge
In 2001, Ned Price, a Democratic Socialists of America member and a math professor at Framingham State College, was charged with assault and battery to racially intimidate after a verbal altercation with a student. In interviews with the local press, Price’s colleagues have questioned the accuser’s credibility. Price is known as a supporter of the civil rights movement who was active in the movement against the Vietnam war. He is president of his chapter of the faculty union.[2]
