In 2019 Mimi Dean stood from AD 20 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.

My name is Mimi Dean and I am a San Lorenzo USD educator of 30 years, sustainable farming and living advocate, Berniecrat, and member of the AD 20 People Powered Progressive Slate.

I believe in creating strong communities, where folks come together, help one another, and work for the common good. I live and work in San Lorenzo and I am deeply rooted there, serving on the Eden Area Food Alliance and growing organic food and relationships in our community garden.^[1]
