Education and early activism
As a "zainichi woman from "apartheid" Japan, Miho has facilitated US-Japan trans-Pacific solidarity with Japan’s marginalized communities for over a decade", is a writer for Japanese news media, and is a 2008 recipient of the Women’s Human Rights Award in Japan.
Kim studied International Relations and Political Science at Emory University, University of Georgia, and Yonsei University (Seoul). Since settling in the U.S., Miho has coordinated ECA-Watch, a world-wide campaign to reform international finance institutions, and was Editor of Corporate-Watch in Japanese (CorpWatch).

Miho Kim is Executive Director at DataCenter.[1]
Kim joined the DataCenter in 2003, leading the formation of the DataCenter’s Research Justice program, and "integrated ‘research’ capacity-building into a larger anti-oppression agenda for oppressed communities".
In 2007 Miho Kim and Aki Jahana were listed on the DataCenter's annual report as donors to the organization. The Oakland, California based DataCenter is widely regarded as the intellegence wing of the United States Left and has close ties to Cuba.[2]
