In 2008 Michael Joyner, CBTU Delegate, 2007 Convention, CBTU; member of IBEW Local 429, Murfreesboro, TN signed a statement circulated by the Partisan Defense Committee calling for the release of convicted “cop-killer” Mumia Abu-Jamal.[1]
