Michael Durgain
Template:TOCnestleft Michael Durgain is long term resident of Cottonwood Arizona. Durgain spent his youth in Laramie, Wyoming, where he worked in the city's public library. "I've owned a couple of book stores," he said. Durgain is library director at Mingus Union High School.
Chair of Cottonwood's Library Board, Durgain is also on the planning committee for the upcoming April 22-24 Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival and has served on the Audubon Society's board for five years.[1]
Favored working with the Socialists
In 1980, a group of Western New American Movement supporters, including Michael Durgain of Laramie, issued a statement to the National Conference urging closer ties to the Socialist Party USA.[2]
