Praise from Aleksandr Dugin

Aleksandr Dugin praised Marjorie Taylor Greene on X for her strong stance against Ukraine on May 3, 2025.[6],[7]

"That is the genuine authentic MAGA-base voice. It would political suicide for Trump to ignore it. MAGA is not happy with Ukrainian rare matters deal and with new and old imperialistic wars. MAGA-base didn't vote for that.

Aleksandr Dugin's praise was in response to an X post from Marjorie Taylor Greene dated May 2, 2025.[8],[9]

Notably, Marjorie Taylor Greene made several false statements about Russia's invasion of Ukraine:

I represent the base and when I’m frustrated and upset over the direction of things, you better be clear, the base is not happy.
I campaigned for no more foreign wars.
And now we are supposedly on the verge of going to war with Iran.
I don’t think we should be bombing foreign countries on behalf of other foreign countries especially when they have their own nuclear weapons and massive military strength.
And on top of that, now we are told that we have signed a deal for mineral rights in Ukraine, in order to pay us back for the hundreds of billions of dollars that we gave Ukraine and they used for money laundering, sold the weapons we gave them to our enemies, and their leader is a dictator who canceled elections, was involved of the first impeachment of Trump, and campaigned for Biden.
Didn’t we learn our lesson when we went to war in Iraq and killed Saddam Hussein because of “weapons of mass destruction?”
Did we ever find any? And did any of that oil over in the Middle East make us rich? The answer is no, we are $36 trillion in debt today.
So why on earth would we go over and occupy Ukraine and spend an untold amount of future American taxpayer dollars defending and mining their minerals as well as potentially putting American lives at risk and future war?
Why don’t we just mine our own rare earth minerals that are tied up on federal lands that the government confiscated years ago?
I also campaigned on accountability for the communist and tyrannical acts made by the government during Covid. Yet the Covid vaccine still has FDA approval even though there are millions reported injuries and deaths, and this mRNA vaccine is known to have horrific side effects and DOES NOT STOP PEOPLE FROM CATCHING COVID.
And to this day, it’s still on the childhood vaccine schedule, why on earth is this happening? Hasn’t big pharma made enough billions and billions and billions of dollars on this lie?
I also campaigned on accountability for all the law fair that was waged against the American people in the past four years. What about all the people that were locked up in jail and the abuse that they went through? And when are those vicious attorneys and judges ever going to be held accountable for the lives they ruined?
And I campaigned for an end to waste fraud and abuse of the American people’s harder tax dollars. I believe the DOGE mission is one of the most important things happening today in our government, and yet where are the rescissions that we should be voting on in Congress?
And one of the biggest issues in the nation that I have fought for, and early on I was one of the only ones that took a loud screaming stand against, is the evil transgender assault against our children. Most normal people in this country can’t even comprehend how it’s allowed to happen to kids who by law can’t even get a tattoo, drive, or vote. And how did so many of our teachers turn into the predators themselves that groom children with gender lies? This should be an all out effort by Republicans to end this insanity.
And look at the extreme nature of our rogue judicial system that is so defiant that there are judges that defy our nation’s laws and block the deportation of literal enemies of the United States of America. Where is the outrage and moral courage to dispose of this treason? Sadly not in Congress.
And what about election integrity? This should be the most important issue that the Republicans aggressively fight to protect because without secure elections protected from illegals voting and protections from stealing our votes, the American people have lost their power.
When you are losing MTG, you are losing the base.
And Trump isn’t on the ballot in the future, so do the math on that.
Cenk Uygur responds favorably to Marjorie Taylor Greene's anti-Ukraine post

Cenk Uygur also responded favorably to Marjorie Taylor Greene's anti-Ukraine post.[10],[11]

Author's Note The quote contains several false or misleading claims. There is no credible evidence that Ukraine used U.S. aid for money laundering or sold U.S.-provided weapons to enemies. The assertion that President Zelenskyy is a dictator who canceled elections is false; elections were legally postponed under martial law due to the war, not dictatorially canceled.[12] The claim of “hundreds of billions” in U.S. aid is exaggerated.[13] The statement that Zelenskyy drove Trump’s first impeachment overstates his role. President Trump asked Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a call to investigate Hunter Biden's participation in the Russian[14] company Burisma. Democrats portrayed him as a victim of President Donald Trump’s coercion, caught between needing U.S. aid to counter Russian aggression and navigating domestic political pressures, but Zelenskyy stated publicly that there was no blackmail during the call.[15] Finally, Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a munitions factory in Scranton, Pennsylvania during the American presidential campaign but there is zero evidence he campaigned for Joe Biden.

Marjorie Taylor Greene on Steve Bannon's War Room

Aleksandr Dugin reposts Marjorie Taylor Greene on X May 5, where she shared a clip from Steve Bannon's "War Room":[16],[17]

"I support President Trump & his agenda but I do NOT support American tax dollars going towards “ensuring the security, prosperity, and reconstruction of Ukraine”.
Me and many of my colleagues campaigned on ENDING foreign wars.
There are many cities in Georgia, California, Hawaii, & South Carolina that could use federal funding to ‘reconstruct’ their own communities.
I’m for America First and President Trump, not these backhand deals that fuel wars overseas.

Clip Transcript

Steve Bannon: But let's talk to people about how this place works, because you've had the most interesting journey. You came in as a MAGA Trump firebreather immediately, and then you were banned by your own Republican Party from being on committees. So, you went out and became a media figure, taking the MAGA message to the people. You've been President Trump's closest supporter. Now, we're at the end of the first 100 days, and you're seeing some basic building blocks that the Republican Party won't get behind him on, or they still have their own kind of globalist agenda, particularly in national security, of what they want to accomplish. How can these guys up there think they exist without Trump and his base?
Marjorie Taylor Greene: Well, here's the issue: never forget, I got here on my own with the people. I didn't get elected with the president's endorsement, and I fought through a primary and a runoff, and I won, and I won a general election. President Trump endorsed me then, but I had already won the general election anyway. I would have won even without it. I'm here because I genuinely believe, and I'm fighting for what I believe in, and what I believe in is what most Americans believe in. So, when I am making a call to action—and it's always early, I'm an early indicator—but when I'm making a call to action, people better pay attention. And here's the issue, Steve: they think they can manipulate the president, but you can't manipulate the base. You can't manipulate the base, and continuing to pursue the war in Ukraine—it's really a proxy war against Russia, the CIA's been running it the entire time, and it started years ago—
Steve Bannon: You've asked and demanded, and I thought a condition precedent of these funding things was you demanded a simple audit. Have you seen the audit? This is four years ago now, three years ago. Have you seen the audit?
Marjorie Taylor Greene: No, I haven't, and I thought they promised in the House. You kind of filibustered for a while and said, "We're not going to approve this." You had a bunch of people voting with you, gazing at that crowd, and you guys, they committed to do a basic audit. And now President Trump is saying 350 billion, other people are saying 250, there's a big spread, but nobody knows where the money was.
Steve Bannon: That's because nobody knows, and the Pentagon has failed its audit every single year, over and over.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: The money's been stolen. This is pure money laundering. Our weapons have been stolen and sold to our enemies. Zelenskyy canceled elections in Ukraine. They silence people's First Amendment rights. You know what else they did? They silenced Christians' rights. This is not democracy in Ukraine; it's everything the opposite of democracy. And I'm outraged to find out today and read the details—read the details of the agreement signed with Ukraine that ensures, listen to this, ensures the security, prosperity, and reconstruction of Ukraine, and the American people are tied in for—there's no end date to this. The American people are not responsible for what happened in Ukraine. The American people did not bomb Ukraine. The American people did not murder Ukrainians. The American people should not be on the hook for their security, prosperity, and reconstruction. Let's talk about reconstruction. How about California? How about where the California fires have destroyed so many? How about Georgia, North Carolina, with the hurricane? How about reconstructing Americans' homes? What about Lahaina? We can go down the list. We can talk about every hurricane. We can talk about every natural disaster in America. How about let's talk about reconstructing American lives from the drug pandemic that has been forced on this nation by the Mexican cartels? How about that one? And when I look on social media, and I see threats like we're going to bomb Iran, but then we're going to ask permission from the Mexican president if we can go in and take out the cartels that are murdering Americans every single day, I'm sorry, this is not what resonates with the American people. They scream hypocrisy.
Steve Bannon: Hang on for one second, take a short commercial break. Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene is in the house in the War Room to kick off a pretty intense week. Back in a moment in America.

Author's Note: In the clip, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Steve Bannon make several false or misleading claims about Ukraine. They claim "nobody knows" where Ukraine funding has been dispersed, ignoring detailed congressional oversight reports.[18],[19] Marjorie alleges the war is a CIA-run "proxy war" against Russia, a speculative claim lacking evidence, and falsely states U.S. weapons are stolen and sold to enemies.[20],[21] Marjorie Taylor Greene inaccurately frames Ukraine’s postponement of elections as Volodymyr Zelenskyy unilaterally "canceling democracy," ignoring that Ukraine’s constitution permits suspending elections during martial law. She also claims that there are restrictions on Christians’ rights, referring to actions against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate), which faced investigations and sanctions due to its ties to Russia’s government and support for the invasion. These measures, including church searches and clergy sanctions in 2022-2023, were driven by national security concerns, not broad suppression of Christianity, as Christian denominations in Ukraine operate freely.

Aleksandr Dugin reposts Marjorie Taylor Greene on X May 5, 2025:[22],[23]

Every single night, from small towns to big cities, people fill emergency rooms with drug overdoses.
I don’t care about Ukraine or Iran or Houthis or whatever foreign country I’m told I’m supposed to care about.
I’m sorry I just don’t.
I am continually outraged and heartbroken over the war waged on the American people by the international cartels.
I haven’t seen Russians killing Americans everyday.
I haven’t seen Houthis killing Americans everyday.
I haven’t seen Iran killing Americans everyday.
But I see the cartels kill Americans every single day.
I also can not comprehend the depths of evil that continually happens to children being trafficked across our border.
How can we allow this and simultaneously beat our chest at other foreign countries about their foreign conflicts that every American I know could care less about because it literally has zero effect on our daily lives?
When we said America first, we meant it.
And that should be our only focus.

Praised 'Brave' CodePink Activists

On October 4, 2023, Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on X about meeting with "brave CodePink activists who protested for peace in Bernie Sanders’ office..." [24]

"The war in Ukraine must END!
Today, I met brave @codepink activists who protested for peace in Bernie Sanders’ office. He had 11 of them arrested!
Peace & free speech shouldn’t be a partisan issue.
We don’t agree on most things, but we do agree Congress should STOP fueling the war in Ukraine!
