Lester Rodney

In 2001 Lester Rodney, former writer for the Daily Worker and Jules Tygiel, author of Baseball’s Great Experiment: Jackie Robinson and His Legacy gave talks entitled: "The Daily Worker and the Integration of Baseball." The classes were held at the San Francisco based Center for Political Education, an organization closely associated with the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism.[1]

The Daily Worker

Rodney contributed to the Daily Worker, which later became People's World after several merges.[2]
