AAFE 40th Anniversary Gala

Asian Americans for Equality celebrated their 40th Anniversary Gala, November 18, 2014, at Tribeca 360, 10 Debrosses St NYC.

Honored "Agents of Change" included Keith Getter;[1]

Keith Getter is expert in the workings of small, medium and large organizations. Prior to joining NeighborWorks®, Getter served as Executive Director of the Park Slope Fifth Avenue Local Development Corporation in Brooklyn, where he implemented inclusionary revitalization strategies and promoted Main Street development.
Getter earned a Master of Urban Planning degree from Hunter College and a post graduate certificate in Human Resources Management/Organizational Development from the New School. He holds a B.A. from Cornell University. Getter serves on various local Board of Directors, runs a “flea market” on selected weekends in his neighborhood, and recently presented an original video / photo documentary on steel band music of Brooklyn at the National Museum of Trinidad in Port-of-Spain. He also has several photos licensed through the Getty Images collection.
