New Virginia Majority
September 2015 Jeffrey Elkner and Roxana Alfaro attended the New Virginia Majority People's Congress in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
- The multiracial, multigenerational group of activists came togther to talk about their efforts on NVM's three main campaigns: criminal justice reform, the Student Action Network, and drivers licenses for all residents of Virginia. Especially exciting for me was the number of high school students who were there. NVM is actively helping to bring together the new majority that is going to change politics in the state and create a progressive future!
