Template:TOCnestleft Huong Nguyen joins the NAKASEC team as Civic Engagement Coordinator with the goal to build a solid volunteer and community base and successfully support the naturalization program. She is a former after-school teacher at AALEAD with a passion to help Asian Americans break through the “bamboo ceiling,” know who they are, know what their rights are, and to represent themselves. She holds a B.A. in Korea Studies and finished her masters in Instructional Technology and Psychology in Korea. She is first generation Vietnamese American.[1]
