Frances Boehm

Frances Boehm peacefully passed away, Tuesday, February 14th 2006, age 91. A long-time member of the Women Strike for Peace and American Labor Party; a co-founder of the Five Towns Forum; an active supporter of the Center For Constitutional Rights; co-creator of the Nancy Boehm Coster Public Policy Fellowship at Dartmouth College, and supporter of countless social justice organizations. The much cherished wife of Robert Boehm, mother of Wendy Olesker, and Diane Boehm, grandmother of Katherine Olesker, Makeba Seargeant, and Daniel Winarick.

We Will Make Peace Prevail!

On March 28, 1982 the New World Review organized a gala luncheon "We Will Make Peace Prevail! Disarmament Over Confrontation, Life Over Death", at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Roosevelt, New York City. Virtually all participants were identified as Communist Party USA.

Frances Boehm and Robert Boehm were listed on the Committee of Sponsors.[1]

Communist "Manifestivity"

On October 30 and 31, 1998 the Brecht Forum presented the "Communist Manifestivity to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Communist Manifesto" at Cooper Union's Great Hall, New York.

Individual endorsers of the event included Frances Boehm and Robert Boehm.[2]
