Standing for AD 70
In 2019 Chris Robson stood from AD 70 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.
I serve as president of the YES WE CAN Democratic Club – Long Beach, elected annually since 2009. Under my leadership, our organization actively (Fundraisers, phone banking and canvassing) supported Alex Villanueva for LA County Sheriff, Harley Rouda and Gil Cisneros in the flipping of their house seats. In 2016, I served as the Long Beach Regional Organizing Lead for Hillary for America and immediately prior to that, as Co-Leader of Long Beach Area for Bernie. Due to my forty-year career in health care administration and business development, and my support for his campaigns, was appointed by our Mayor to the Long Beach Health and Human Services Board., for three terms, two of them as the elected Chair.
I am a lifelong Democrat and 10-year resident of Long Beach’s 70th Assembly District. I am running to bring progressive change to Democratic politics and elections operations in the Assembly District, County of Los Angeles and State of California. Our platform consists of specific reforms of the California Democratic Party, which we initiated in the last ADEM election and have been working toward since then.
