Center for Worker Education
The Center for Worker Education is an organization within the City University of New York in New York City. Its Division of Interdisciplinary Studies program aims to provide an excellent education to working adults from New York City and surrounding regions.
It offers an interdisciplinary bachelor of arts degree, an early childhood education bachelor of science degree and a number of certificate programs.
CWE "seeks mutually beneficial relationships with labor unions, New York City agencies, private employers, and community organizations who share our educational mission. With a dual focus on excellence and access and by reaching out to the community, CWE aims to be a positive force in lower Manhattan and in the New York metropolitan area."[1]
