Link to Ronnie Earle

Soon after the indictments Ronnie Earle brought against Tom DeLay, Earle began negotiating with Sears, Inc., one of the corporations indicted. Earle made a deal, saying he would drop the charges against them if they would pay $1 million to the "Center for Deliberative Democracy” (CDD) program at Stanford University.[2]
