Celine Massa
Celine Massa is a Project Coordinator at Ethical Consumers Australia.
Activist
I went to uni and did a bachelor’s degree in Community Welfare and International Social Development. I’ve also recently finished a Masters in International Urban and Environmental Management. Both degrees have very much guided the type of work that I seek and are also quite relevant to my work at present.
I also worked in a variety of positions over the years, including working in East Timor on community health projects as well as a gender research project with Oxfam.
These positions had a deep impact on me and have made me resourceful and very adaptable to changing situations.
I’ve also worked coordinating a reconciliACTION conference, with the aim of engaging young people in reconciliation and indigenous issues, and organising a youth activist training program supporting young people to become active on issues they’re passionate about.[1]
