2020 meeting with YDSA

We had our first meeting of 2020 this evening. Several students from Texas A&M who are developing a YDSA group on campus joined us.

Voter registration

- Block-walks in Bryan to register voters are being scheduled and planned for May, June, July, and August. We have people committed to go on the May and June walks, but would welcome others to join us.
- If you are a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar in Brazos County, please join us for these community engagement outings:
- *Sunday May 27, block-walk, 1-4pm. Meet at Democratic Party office parking lot, 307 S. Main, Bryan, 1pm to receive block-walking assignments.
- *Saturday, June 9, meet at Dem parking lot at 10am for b-w assignments and walk until 3pm.
- *Saturday, June 23, meet at Dem Party parking lot at 10 for b-w assignments and walk until 3pm.
- Additional block-walks are being planned for July and August.
- Anyone who intends to walk should contact me at nelson.davidscott@gmail.com or 979.97943.3631 so we can plan accordingly.
- Let's block-walk for democracy and progressive change in our communities, the state, and the nation.
