Brandon Wallace
Brandon Wallace , born 1980, was a gay activist currently living in Lafayette, Indiana.[1].
- I am 28 years old, having completed my Master's degree in American Studies at Purdue University in 2005. A native of Chicago, I lived in Alabama, and am now currently in Indiana. I am an activist, have a life-long pursuit of knowledge,and am a writer who looks forward to being published someday.
Committees of Correspondence
In 2009 Brandon Wallace, Alabama , was elected to the National Co-ordinating Committee of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and and Socialism from the member's post National Convention ballot[2].
Social Forum CCDS workshop
There was a very successful Southern region Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism workshop at the 2010 Social Forum in Detroit—about twelve individuals came to the panel. Bill Chandler, Ashlee Henderson, Brandon Wallace, and Tim Johnson were presenters.[3]
Death
Brandon Wallace died January 10th, 2013.
Brandon Wallace served on the National Coordinating Committee of Committees of Correspondence and also helped to produce theirnewsletter, The Mobilizer, for which he recently did an interview with Marian Gordon about her trip to Palestine. Brandon was CCDS's Southern Regional Organizer. He was "deeply committed to the local movements in Alabama where he lived".[4]
