The Communist Party of Australia, Association for Communist Unity and others organized The Broad Left Conference, which was held 1986 28th-31st March, at the NEW SOUTH WALES INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Broadway, Sydney.

Austral Singers

The Austral Singers performing at Camp Eureka, Yarra Junction, Victoria. They include Marion Sandy, John Arrowsmith, Beryl Tilley, Norma Green, Arthur Greig, Geoff Coles, Nina Scott, Joyce Coupe, Marie McIntyre and Lally Mack. The Austral Singers formed in 1951 and their repertoire included traditional English-style choral music and Australian songs. Camp Eureka was built after the Second World War by the Eureka Youth League, the Communist Party of Australia and the trade union movement.[1]d
