Americans for Financial Reform is a coalition of more than 250 national, state and local groups who have come together to reform the financial industry.
- Members of our coalition include consumer, civil rights, investor, retiree, community, labor, religious and business groups as well as Nobel prize winning economists.[1]
European connection
In the wake of the economic crisis, the Party of European Socialists joined Europeans for Financial Reform (EFFR), a coalition of NGOs, foundations and civil society actors that demand a stronger regulation of financial markets. In order to push for such a regulation world-wide, EFFR cooperates with its US partner Americans for Financial Reform..[2]
