The American Committee for Protection of Foreign Born was an organization between 1933 and 1982, based in New York City. It was founded by the Communist Party USA. It was active regarding immigration legislation, individual immigration litigation, and public education of these issues. The General Counsel in the 1950s was Ira Gollobin.[1]
