Standing for AD 7
In 2019 Michelle Pariset stood from AD 7 for the California Cemocratic Party central Committee.
- I work for Public Advocates, a non-profit civil rights law firm and advocacy organization. I spend my days advocating for progressive housing and tenant protection legislation in the Capitol. I’m also the lead author and a named proponent on the Sacramento rent stabilization and just cause charter amendment (which City voters will have an opportunity to pass in 2020). Additionally, I’m a board member of Organize Sacramento, a small and mighty local non-profit that fought to raise the minimum wage and advocates for a transit system that serves those who need it most, among many other campaigns. I bring these experiences with me to my work as a delegate.[1]
