Barbara Boxer

Barbara Boxer is a Democratic member of the United States Senate, representing California. She was elected to her position in 1992, originally, and has been serving as the Chief Deputy Whip since 2005. She was a member of the United States House of Representatives for ten years and on Marin County Board of Supervisors for six years before her Senate career.
"...Boxer met her husband of 48 years, Stewart Boxer, at Brooklyn College. The couple moved to California in 1965 to raise their two children, Doug and Nicole." They have four grandchildren—Zachary, Zain, Sawyer and Reyna.[1]
