She was a founder of Technical Assistance for the People, and a founder of the Berkeley Coalition for Environmental Justice, and an activist against Chem Waste. She was interviewed about her work by Max Elbaum and CrossRoads staff member Nancy Stein, for the April 1992 joint Forward Motion/CrossRoads issue.
