The conference was held April 24-26, 1992 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York City.

Miller also spoke alongside Jose Luis Morin, Center for Constitutional Rights; Wing Lam, Chinese Staff and Workers Union; Marc Greenberg, Interfaith Association on Housing and Home and Annie Ellman, Center for Non-Violence Education were speakers on the Radical Transformation: Organizing Communities in New York City panel sponsored by the North Star Fund.[2]
