Renate Jaeger is familiar with the struggles of working class women and reviews the history of women's participation in union activity, giving accounts of present day struggles. She is an organizer of hospital workers and other public employees in Western Pennsylvania.[1]

She was also a speaker on the Health section of the NAM Speakers Bureau on the subject of Organizing Health-Care Workers.[5]
