DSA is proud to endorse Alex Brower for City Comptroller in Milwaukee, up for vote on Tue, Feb 18th!!

Alex is a teacher, credit union leader, proud Milwaukee DSA member, and president of the substitute teachers' union, where he won healthcare benefits for some full-time substitute teachers at Milwaukee Public Schools by engaging in a 21-day hunger strike in May 2018.

He is running a campaign on issues like public power & public banking, and has built a coalition with endorsements from groups like Black Leaders Organizing Communities (BLOC), AFSCME Council 32, & Sunrise Milwaukee.
