The article was followed by a long list of endorsers[1]including Ruth Emerson, Almost all endorsers were confirmed members of the Communist Party USA.

Honoring Frank Wilkinson

Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights organized a "Celebration of the The Dynamic Life of Frank Wilkinson (1914-2006)" on Sunday October 29, 2006. Wilkinson had been a leader of the Communist Party USA, the New American Movement and Democratic Socialists of America[2].

Honoring Committee members included Ruth Emerson.

Memorial service

A New Haven, Conn.: Memorial service for Ruth Calvin Emerson was held June 26 2010 at the New Haven People's Center, 37 Howe Street, New Haven, Connecticut.[3]

Ruth passed away on April 25, 2010. Her staunch and enthusiastic commitment to a more just and peaceful world is a wonderful example for all time.
