July 25 2009 Meta Van Sickle was an unsuccessful candidate[4]for the Committees of Correspondence National Co-ordinating Committee at CCDS national conference in San Francisco.
In 2009 Meta Van Sickle, South Carolina , was elected to the National Co-ordinating Committee of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and and Socialism from the member's post National Convention ballot[5].
