Template:TOCnestleft American Labor for Palestine (ALP) was launched when Al-Awda, The Palestinian Right to Return Coalition, and New York City Labor Against the War (NYCLAW) announced it in the spring of 2004 with an open letter to “fellow trade unionists and workers.”[1]
On December 14, 2009, Labor for Palestine released an "Open Letter from U.S. Trade Unionists to AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka: Boycott Apartheid Israel".[2]
