Template:TOCnestleft Socialist Action is a San Francisco based Trotskyist political party, which stands in political solidarity with the Fourth International. It publishes a monthly newspaper, the Socialist Action.

Its youth arm began in 2001 as the Youth for Socialist Action.

Socialist Action Newspaper

The October 1990, edition of "Socialist Action", vol. 8, No. 10, contained a good list of old SWP members who went with the Socialist Action faction starting about 1980. They and other SA-associated/affiliated people are listed here to show the old SWP base that created "Socialist Action" the Trotskyite splinter group.

Solidarity with Sept. 24 FBI Raid Activists

The Committee to Stop FBI Repression lists Socialist Action as one of the organizations that has issued a statement of solidarity in support of the activists raided in the September 24, 2010 FBI Raids.[1]
