Radicalization
- It was 46 years ago (1969). I was a 19-year old GI when I attended a BPP rally in a south-side Chicago church on Dec. 4th, 1971, the 2nd anniversary of his assassination,. That night I became a freedom fighter. 5 months later, after refusing to go to Nam, doing a month in the stockade, organizing resistance from within the military, etc. I was given an undesirable discharge for the USAF. It has been a life filled with purpose ever since. Long live the spirit of Fred Hampton!
