Template:TOCnestleft Essy Stone is a queer Appalachian poet originally from East Tennessee. I was a Stegner Fellow at Stanford and I'm working on a Ph.D from USC. I'm a Socialist and a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and IWW. I live in Los Altos Hills and am a director on the Purissima Hills Water District.[1]
