- Jane was born and raised in Tampa. She graduated from Chamberlain High and attended the University of Tampa on an athletic scholarship. Jane proudly lives in Seminole Heights with her longtime partner and their two boys who currently attend Florida colleges. They are avid Lightning fans, love to fish and boat on the Hillsborough River and have enjoyed watching Tampa become the city it is today.
- Jane spent three decades with the Tampa Police Department, the last six years as the Chief of Police, where she built a legacy of working side-by-side with the community to improve our neighborhoods and make our city safe.
- Her common-sense leadership and ability to fix real problems facing Tampa families is why Jane Castor will be a great Mayor for ALL of Tampa.
