The Whitewater controversy pertains to a set of real estate investments by Bill and Hillary Clinton along with Jim and Susan McDougal.

The McDougals were ultimately convicted for their part in the failed venture.

  • The Little Rock FBI and United States Attorney office cleared the Clintons of having any knowledge of the check-kiting activity conducted by James McDougal[1]
