In November 2022 Max Anderson signed the Open Letter from RWU to the President .

Communist Party USA

On June 1, 1975, Max Anderson was elected as a member of the District Committee of the Pennsylvania Communist Party at the Party's District Convention.[1]

Conference on Perspectives for Democracy and Socialism in the 90s

The Conference on Perspectives for Democracy and Socialism in the 90s was the Committees of Correspondence's first national conference held in Berkeley, California July 17-19, 1992.[2]

Workshops that were held at the conference on Saturday, July 18 included:[3]

Economic Crisis Homelessness, joblessness, poverty & the enduring economic crisis. What should be the role of the left in shaping strategy and building an effective fightback.

NCC candidate

At the Committees of Correspondence Conference, July 19,1992, Anderson was a candidate for the CoC NCC.[4]

Supporting Sandre Swanson

In 2006, Maxwell Anderson, Jr., Councilmember, Berkeley , was one of many prominent Northern California leftists to serve on State Assembly hopeful Sandre Swanson's Honorary Campaign Committee.[5]

Berkeley City Council and CCDS member

In 2010, Max Anderson was a member of the Berkeley City Council and of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy & Socialism.[6]
