In 2016 Gretchen Driskell was supported by Council for a Livable World.
- After building a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant, Driskell moved to Michigan in 1988. She was soon elected as a member of Saline’s City Council, where she served six years before becoming Saline’s first female Mayor. She served as Mayor for 14 years–Saline’s longest serving Mayor in the city’s history. Driskell was elected to Michigan’s State House of Representatives in the 52nd District of Michigan in November of 2012.
