Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights
In November 1967, Maxwell Primack and his wife signed a Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights advertisement in the Hyde Park-Kenwood Voices opposing efforts by Senator Dirksen to re-institute the McCarran Subversive Activities Control Act of 1950.[1]
GI Civil Liberties Defense Committee
Circa 1969, Maxwell Primack, Chicago Peace Council , was listed as a sponsor of the Socialist Workers Party led GI Civil Liberties Defense Committee .[2]
