As at 2010, Patrick McCann served on the Board of Directors of Veterans for Peace. He had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 - 1972.[1] Veterans for Peace is a member group of United for Peace & Justice and seeks to "protest the immoral and disastrous Iraq War and oppose our government's policy of permanent warfare and empire-building".[2]
McCann was the contact person for the Maryland-DC chapter from 2003 - 2004. He was the president of the Miami/South Florida Chapter from 2004 - 2005. He led workshops at the 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2009 conventions. He was an executive member of the host committee for the 2009 convention.
