Monash ALP Labor Club May 10, 2017.
Monash ALP Club members got together last night to watch Scott Morrison deliver another shockingly out of touch federal budget. A budget that attacks students with funding cuts and fee hikes, attacks the most vulnerable overseas with further cuts to foreign aid, and attacks all working class and middle class Australians by increasing our tax burden. All the while, the Liberals are giving their millionaire mates tax cuts and refusing to go after, in any meaningful way, the tax-dodging corporations whose unpaid taxes could fund the vital services and infrastructure projects Australia really needs.
