Janice Workman

SEARCH personnel

SEARCH Foundation President Richard Walsham, 2002 AGM:

We need to thank Peter Murphy, Janice Workman and Michele Freeman for their ongoing efforts in keeping the administrative and political work of SEARCH on track. The publication, SEARCH News is particularly valuable in keeping members up to date and informed of our work, and providing information and analysis of current political developments.
We farewelled Senator Claire Moore from the Committee and welcomed to the Committee, Leonie Short, who had that remarkable by-election win in Ryan at the beginning of last year which many predicted, unfortunately inaccurately, marked the beginning of the end for John Howard.
The Committee has once again functioned very well and extremely conscientiously. It has not only determined allocation of grants, but held useful discussions on political issues which have been reflected in SEARCH News.[1]
